Manually Downloading a Patch in GFI LanGuard

Overview

This article guides you on how to manually download a patch in GFI LanGuard.

Process

  1. In the GFI LanGuard console, with a scan loaded, navigate to Remediate > Remediation Center.
  2. Click Deploy Software Updates, then select the intended patch.
  3. Right-click the patch and select Properties.
  4. Copy the Source URL: file path to the browser and download to the Download directory: path.
  5. Right-click on the file and go to Properties. Make sure to unblock the file under the General tab.
