The exact space required to save each scan result can vary depending on the scanning profile used and some other factors. However, a preset vulnerability scan will require approximately 1 MB space in a standard SQL database per scan target.

For example, in a 1,500 IP environment, the database should grow about 1.5 GB per scan. By default the system keeps 10 scans worth of data, so in this example this will keep the database size at a maximum of approximately 15 GB.
