License Expiration in Kerio Control

Overview

When the Kerio Control subscription expires, the functionality of the product becomes limited, making it less effective as a Unified Threat Management software. It is highly recommended that the subscription be renewed to maintain all critical functions, as the firewall protection for your network and data will be significantly affected.

IMPORTANT: Once the Kerio Control subscription reaches the grace period, the maintenance updates stop working, which increases the risk of your system being exposed to the latest threats.

Solution

Reduced Functionality in Kerio Control

The following functions and operations are affected when the subscription expires (after the 30-day grace period):

  • Anti-virus turned off.

For more information, refer to Antivirus.

End of the Grace Period

During the grace period, Kerio Control allows users to use the application with reduced functionality. After the grace period elapses, the Kerio Control configuration is blocked until the subscription is renewed.

Renewing the Subscription

To renew your Kerio Control subscription, please reach out to your preferred reseller or go to Ordering GFI Solutions.
