UI Freezes If Importing Settings Override Confirmation Dialog Is Not Confirmed in Less Than 20 Seconds

Overview

When importing settings, a confirmation dialog appears on the screen on which the user needs to confirm if the existing settings should be overwritten. If the dialog doesn't receive a response from the user within 20 seconds, the UI freezes.

Environment

EventsManager 2012 build 20111130 and SR1 20120214

 

 

Resolution

  1. Close the UI (via the Task Manager if necessary).
  2. Restart the UI.
  3. Start the import settings process again.
  4. Respond to the confirmation dialog quickly.
