Overview

This article explains the two ways users can launch and install updates in GFI EventsManager.

Process

Updates for GFI EventsManager can be installed through either of the following procedures:

Using Console

1. Open the GFI EventsManager Management Console.
2. Navigate to Configuration > Options >  AutoUpdate Options.
3. Within Common Tasks: Click 'Update now...' to install any missing updates.

NOTE:  If 'Edit updater options...' is selected instead of 'Update now...', there is an option to enable automatic installation of new updates along with the ability to Update Now.

Using Command Prompt

1. Open the command prompt and change directories to the GFI EventsManager installation directory.
2. Run this command: Update.exe /InstallNow
