Overview

This article provides a step-by-step process on installing new updates for GFI EventsManager.

Process

Any available updates for GFI EventsManager can be installed with the following steps:

1. Open the GFI EventsManager Console.
2. Navigate to Configuration > Options > AutoUpdate Options.
3. Click the Edit updater options link.
4. Click the Update Now button.

Note: In this same screen, you can also configure options for allowing EventsManager to install updates automatically. To enable this, select Install updates automatically, click Apply and then click OK.

Alternatively, if you cannot access the console:

1. Navigate to the EventsManager installation directory:
   • 32 bit: C:\Program Files\GFI\EventsManager<year>
   • 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\GFI\EventsManager<year>
2. Right-click the file updater.exe and choose Run as Administrator.
