Problem Summary

During the installation of GFI Webmonitor in Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2 the installing stops while trying to install MSMQ.

How to Identify

During the installation of GFI Webmonitor in Windows 8.1 or Server 2012 R2 the installing stops while trying to install MSMQ. It can it show that MSMQ was installed while it was not or will say that it could no be installed or that the version of Windows is not supported. MSMQ is not installed by the bootstrapper on Windows Server 2012 R2 and Windows 8.1.

Workaround / Fix Details

1. Stop the installation 2. Install MSMQ manually before installing WebMonitor 3. Reboot the Server 4. Try to install WebMonitor again Second workaround upgrade to GFI WebMonitor 2015. This version no longer uses MSMQ
