Overview 

This article describes the process to follow when the below error message is displayed in the interface:

Error Object reference not set to an instance of an object

Information

Environment

• GFI WebMonitor
• All supported environments

Root Cause

 The files may be deleted accidentally or due to a third party scanning process.

Process

1. Navigate to \GFI\Webmonitor\Data.
2. Open the same folder on a server that is working well.
3. Compare the files and folder.
4. Search for the corrupted or missing file.
5. Replace the files with the ones from the machine that is working fine.
6. Restart the GFI Services.
