GFI LanGuard is automatically performing major version upgrades of third-party software.

Root Cause

By default, this field is not checked in GFI LanGuard.


Resolution

  1. Open the GFI LanGuard console.
  2. Browse to Configuration > Patch Auto-Deployment > Automatic Approval.
  3. Check the option Disable Automatic Approval for Major Version Upgrades at the bottom of the page.
