Disable User Cache on Startup

Overview

This article provides the steps to disable the user cache on startup.

Process

Follow the steps mentioned below:

  1. Open the GFI FaxMaker Configuration.
  2. Navigate to Advanced > Miscellaneous > Properties.
  3. Select the option "Do not cache users on startup."
  4. Restart both GFI FaxMaker services.
Note: If you have a large number of users (more then 2000), you can speed up the start time by disabling the cache user feature.  The cache user feature is not recommended for large networks.
