Overview

This article provides the process to configure the FaxMaker Client to use WSAPI.

Environment

• GFI FaxMaker 2014 or later.
• GFI FaxMaker client 2013 or later.

Process

During the GFI FaxMaker client installation wizard:

1. Select the direct option connection to GFI FaxMaker to send faxes directly to GFI FaxMaker server on the port 8555 from GFI FaxMaker client.
2. Specify the IP address or FQDN of the GFI FaxMaker machine and the email address (where the transmission reports should be delivered).
   
3. After the installation of GFI FaxMaker client, the IP address and the port of the GFI FaxMaker can be amended from the user interface of GFI FaxMaker client. Go To View > Options > Connection Tab. Click the button Test connection to verify the specified details of the GFI FaxMaker server.
4. Click the button OK to save the changes.
