How to Identify

An issue has been discovered with customers who upgrade their license key to GFI FaxMaker 2013 through the customer area portal. These customers will not be able to modify their footer stamping from the default value 'This Fax was sent with GFI FaxMaker'. SOP/IT are working on a resolution for this reported issue.

Workaround / Fix Details

There is currently no work around within FaxMaker for this issue. The customer can obtain a new key that will resolve it per instructions below.

Required Actions

If you encounter this issue, please forward the following information to customers@gfi.com so that Sales & Order Processing can generate a correct key for the customer: • Customer ID • Customer’s License Key • Something similar to “Please change the ‘Faxmaker Disclaimer text’ flag to NO”
