FaxMaker 19 Installation Is Stuck on Select Components Window

Overview

When installing FaxMaker 19 on Windows 7 or 10. The wizard is stuck on the Select Components window, and the Next button is not functional.

Environment

FaxMaker 19 and 19.1

Root Cause

The IIS (Internet Information Services) components are missing and it is not automatically installed by GFI FaxMaker during the installation.

Resolution

Please follow these steps to fix the installation issue:

  1. Close the wizard.
  2. Navigate to Control Panel > Programs and Features >Turn on Windows features on or off, select IIS (Internet Information Services) to install this feature.
  3. Rerun the installation.

Note: If the issue persists after installing Internet Information Services, a restart of the machine may be needed.

Confirmation

FaxMaker 19 is installed successfully on Windows 7 or 10.
