PROBLEM

GFI FaxMaker is unable to receive inbound fax calls. The CAPI trace indicates a 0x3401 error as the reason for the disconnect call event (initiated by the SIP provider).

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker 2013 or higher
• TE-Systems XCAPI
• SIP provider SBC

SOLUTION

1. Open the XCAPI Configuration
2. Open the SIP Tweaks node > Standard
3. Enter the following values:

• T30_CNG_AUDIO with value 1
• NCS_SET_MODE_DELAY with value 900

1. Save configuration changes by clicking File > Save
2. Restart the GFI FaxMaker FaxServer service

CAUSE

The XCAPI configuration was not optimized with the custom SIP provider.
