PROBLEM

When sending a fax with an attachment through GFI FaxMaker, the sender receives a report with the following error:
Attachment Conversion failed : 0

The log file conversion.gfi_log indicates:

ENVIRONMENT

• GFI FaxMaker
• All supported environments

SOLUTION

Please ensure that the attached TIF image is compressed in G3 or G4. Other TIF compressions are not supported by GFI FaxMaker.

CAUSE

GFI FaxMaker supports TIF images that are G3 or G4 compressed.
