Overview

In regard to Lines /Devices > Line X > Properties > Users, FaxMaker stores individual selected users/groups for a selected fax line from 0 - 7, but it fails to store any selected users/groups for a selected fax line from 8 upwards. It is only possible to store the selection for line 8 and upwards if the user/group appears on one of the lower fax lines (0 - 7). If the user/group is later removed from one of the lower fax lines (0-7), then it will be removed automatically from all fax lines (8 - upwards).

Environment

GFI FaxMaker Version 2013 Build: 20130606

Root Cause

This is a known issue that's resolved with a patch (FM2013SR2_patch_20131010_01.zip).

Resolution

1. Stop both GFI FaxMaker services.
2. Browse to FaxMaker root folder.
3. Rename fgwconfg.exe into backupfgwconfg.exe.
4. Copy the patch.
5. Start both GFI FaxMaker services

Note: This patch is only released for the following build: FaxMaker 2013 SR2. For other builds, please escalate this case.
