Overview

After making changes in the GFI FaxMaker Configuration, modifications do not appear to be taking effect.

Environment

Root Cause

Some modifications in the GFI FaxMaker Configuration require a restart of the GFI FaxMaker Services for new settings to be loaded.

Resolution

Close the GFI FaxMaker Configuration and restart the GFI FaxMaker Services.

Note:

• build 20081120 and later: GFI FaxMaker Services are no longer required to be restarted when new Licensed Users are added, or new routes.
• ​build 20090303 and later: GFI FaxMaker Services are no longer required to be restarted when configuring Archiving and Email2Fax Gateway.
