Overview

This article looks at the compatibility between Exinda Mobile 4.3.1 and 4.4 versions.

Information

The v4.3.1 Mobile Server is compatible with a v4.4 Server as long as the block size configuration for each is the same.

By default:

• Exinda Mobile v4.4 system has a block size set to [4096,102400].

• Exinda Mobile v4.3 has block size set to [4070].

The block size configuration is stored in the block_sizes configuration key in /replify/proxy/xdr.app.

If using a 4.4 system where v4.3 clients are connecting, the key in xdr.app should be set to [4070].

Note that a service restart is required for this service change to take effect.
