Overview

This article provides the process of removing/deleting all the available chat history created through the Instant Messaging feature in Kerio Connect.

Prerequisites

Admin access to Kerio Connect server

Process

1. Stop the Kerio Connect server.

2. Navigate to the Kerio Connect store folder.

3. Open the im/databases folder and delete the im-all folder.

   NOTE: It is recommended to take a backup of the im-all folder before deleting it.
   
   The im-all folder contains:

   • all conversations from all domains;

   • user presence related data (online, offline, etc.)

   

4. Start Kerio Connect.

Confirmation

The Chat History of all the Kerio Connect users was deleted/reset.
