Overview
While migrating Kerio Connect, the MyKerio settings from the old inactive server might be still stored in the configuration files.
MyKerio is a cloud service that enables you to administer numerous Kerio Connect appliances from a single dashboard. This article describes the process of adding Kerio Connect to MyKerio.
Process
There are two ways to add Kerio Connect to MyKerio:
- Using MyKerio settings.
- During the Kerio Connect installation.
Using MyKerio Settings
To link Kerio Connect to MyKerio, you must enable access to MyKerio in Kerio Connect and sign up or register for MyKerio.

In the Kerio Connect administration interface, navigate to Configuration > MyKerio.

In the MyKerio settings, Check the Enable communication with MyKerio checkbox and click Apply.

Click the add this Kerio Connect link.

Your web browser opens MyKerio, where you can register or log in if you are already registered. After a successful login, MyKerio displays the Add a New Appliance dialog box.

Enter the name of the Kerio Connect appliance (for example, your company name).

If you have many organizations created in MyKerio, also select the organization you are configuring, then click Add.
Confirmation
You are now connected to MyKerio, and you can see the Kerio Connect appliance in the MyKerio dashboard.
During Installation
After setting up the administrator password in the initial configuration during the Kerio Connect installation, the next screen gives you an option to manage Kerio Connect through MyKerio:

Enable the option Allow remote administration from MyKerio cloud service to manage your Kerio Connect appliance from the MyKerio configuration wizard screen.

Enable the option Open MyKerio and add this appliance after you finish this wizard to go to MyKerio immediately after you finish the installation.

Click Next.

Once you complete the installation for Kerio Connect, your web browser opens MyKerio, where you can register or log in if you are already registered. After a successful login, MyKerio displays the Add a New Appliance dialog box.

Enter the name of the Kerio Connect appliance (for example, your company name).
- If you have many organizations created in MyKerio, also select the organization you are configuring, then click Add.
Confirmation
You are now connected to MyKerio, and you can see the Kerio Connect appliance in the MyKerio dashboard.
