Locating the KOFF Store and the Debug Files

Overview

Kerio Outlook Connector (Offline Edition) or KOFF is a Microsoft Outlook extension that is used to manage Kerio Connect email, events, contacts, and tasks in Microsoft Outlook. The Offline Edition synchronizes all changes with Kerio Connect once you reconnect. 

This article explains how you can access the local store and debug files for the Kerio Outlook Connector Offline Edition.

 


Process

The KOFF store is located in the following locations:

  • Windows Vista & Windows 7 - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Kerio\Outlook Connector\<profile name>

  • Windows 10 - C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Kerio\Outlook Connector

    Kerio MailServer 6.7.0 or older have the debug.log file stored within the 'Outlook Connector' profile folder.


    The part of the path is hidden from view by default in Windows Explorer. To view these folders, you will need to enable the correct view in Windows Explorer.

    To enable the viewing of hidden files in Windows Explorer, follow the steps below:

    1. Open the Windows Explorer.

    2. Click File and click on Change folder and search options.

    3. Click on the View tab.

    4. Check the option Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

    5. Click on Apply, and then click on OK.

 


Confirmation

You can now navigate to the debug.log file and datastore folder of each Kerio Outlook Connector account.
