How to import a large number of users to the list server

Answer

  1. Make a copy of the following file:
    • ...GFI\MailEssentials\data\ListName.mdb
    • ...GFI\MailEssentials\Antispam\ListName.mdb (MailEssentials 2012 and later)
  2. Open the file with Microsoft Access
  3. Add the new addresses to the copy of the database
  4. Stop the GFI MailEssentials Services (Disable the MailEssentials Scan Service to prevent it from starting automatically)
  5. Rename the old ListName.mdb to ListName.old.mdb
  6. Place the new file in it's place
  7. Restart the GFI MailEssentials services
Choose files or drag and drop files
