Problem Summary
Emails are sent with the Body.rtf attached when using GFI MailEssentials with Disclaimers enabled. Inbound emails are not affected.

How to Identify
- Started happening on 20.2 and persists on 20.3. - Disabling Disclaimers resolves the issue. - Disclaimer is configured as HTML with the option "Use character set of email body". Workaround / Fix Details
This is a known issue and a patch for GFI MailEssentials is available to solve it. Provide the following instructions to a customer experiencing this issue: 1. Download the patch file: http://psg.gfi.com/ME/Patches/ME20/GFIME-1742c.zip 2. Right-click the zip file and choose Properties. From the General tab, click Unblock and then Apply. 3. Close the GFI MailEssentials interface. 4. Stop the following services, using services.msc: - Microsoft Exchange Transport - All GFI MailEssentials services 5. Backup and replace the file \Program Files\Common Files\GFI\common\TextConvertersProxy.dll with the one extracted from the ZIP file. If file does not exist simply place it on the folder. 6. Start the services previously stopped on step 3. 7. Open the GFI MailEssentials interface.
Required Actions
Apply the patch and request the user contact us if the problem persists.
