Problem Summary
GFI MailEssentials Attendant service is suffering from a memory leak, causing other processes/services to crash. GFIMailEssentials functionality is affected as well. So far the issue has been traced back to the public folder scanning.

How to Identify
Monitor the memory consumption of the MailEssentials.Attendant.Service.exe process over time by using either the Task Manager or the Resource Monitor. The process should not be using more than 300-400 MB of RAM, and the amount of RAM should not increase constantly, without going down again.
