PROBLEM
Auto-replies are not working.
ENVIRONMENT
- GFI MailEssentials
- all supported environments
SOLUTION
- Open the GFI MailEssentials Configuration Console
- Navigate to General Settings > Settings > Local Domains
- Enter the Domain in the Local Domains field
- Confirm the following:
- All domain addresses are listed properly (domain.com)
- No wildcards are being used (such as domain.*)
- Remove .local Inbound Email Domain references
CAUSE
Inbound email domains are not listed in the GFI MailEssentials Configuration Console, therefore the auto-replies are not applied on those inbound emails.
