Overview

The words which are triggered in the MailInsights Inappropriate Words report can be amended through the Inappropriate Words Editor tool. This article describes the process to use this tool.

Process

1. Navigate to the tool at the following location:
   • GFI MailArchiver 2014 or newer: ..\InstallationFolder\Core\Bin\inappropriatewordseditor.exe
   • GFI MailArchiver 2013 or older: ..\InstallationFolder\Core2\Bin\inappropriatewordseditor.exe
     
     
2. Once the tool is launched, you will receive a warning prompt. Then once the tool is opened, it will look like this:
   
   
   
   
3. Add inappropriate words, one word per line.
   
   
4. Hit Save after editing.
