Overview

This article provides the steps to fix an error message that may appear in the application event logs.

Information

The following error appears in the Application event logs:

Source: MARCore or MARxCore (where x refers to the version number)
Event ID: 5401
Description: Plugin Licensing Notifications reports exception

This error occurs because the license module is misconfigured and needs to be re-triggered.

Process

1. From the GFI Archiver console, navigate to Configuration > Change License Key > Edit License Key.
2. Re-apply the valid license key.
3. Stop all GFI Archiver service.
4. Start all GFI Archiver services.

Confirmation

GFI Archiver runs as expected with no error messages.
