Chinese Characters Are Not Displayed Correctly in the Phrase Search Report

 

Overview

When generating a Phrase Search MailInsights report based on a Chinese email/search phase, the PDF report contains place holder characters and does display some strings incorrectly. This was observed on the subject and phrase columns.

Environment

20121204, 20130510

Resolution

Apply the patches below or upgrade to version 20130704 or newer.

  • For version 20130510, apply MARC2013 patch 20130522_01.
  • For version 20121204, apply MARC2012 patch 20130522_01.
