Overview

The scanning profile editor is unable to save any changes made in the HTTP/FTP timeout setting under Network & Software Audit Options > Applications > Advanced Options. The editor appears to have saved the changes but when you close the scanning profile editor and open it again, the value in the HTTP/FTP timeout setting goes back to 60, which is the default value.

Upon checking the debug logs, there are no records about the changes made; only the following entries are recorded.

Root Cause

This is a product defect which has been resolved in LanGuard 2011 SR2.

Resolution

Please upgrade to LanGuard 2011 SR2 or higher to resolve this issue.
