Overview

Agent scans lists computers having the 'USB installed over time' potential vulnerability, but it does not display the USB devices that have been connected to the computer.

Resolution

A patch has been issued for this issue via Program Updates Ensure that the customer's Program Updates are up to date Upgrade to GFI LanGuard 2015

How to Identify

Load the agent scan results from a scan that includes scanning for vulnerabilities. Check the Vulnerability Assessment > Potential Vulnerabilities node for the 'USB devices installed over time' vulnerability and confirm the vulnerability is present but does not include the list of vulnerabilities. Do an interactive scan of the machine (or view the results) and verify the vulnerability is present and DOES contain the list of devices.
