Overview

When editing the new license key for GFI LanGuard, it does not accept the new license key and it reverts back to the old license key.

Resolution

• Verify that the license key does not have any spaces.
• Make sure that the license key is applicable for the product version in question.
• Ensure that the file toolcfg_license.xml (Located in C:\Program Data\GFI\LanGuard) is not set to read-only.
