Overview

When the GFI LanGuard configuration starts, the following error message is displayed at the bottom of the GFI LanGuard configuration:

Invalid license key! Network vulnerability auditing and remediation features are disabled

Root Cause

This error message indicates that the GFI LanGuard is not able to read the license key provided in the GFI LanGuard console.

Resolution

Insert your license key once again by following the below steps:

1. Open the GFI LanGuard console.
2. Go to General > Licensing.
3. Click Enter new license key.
4. Enter the license key in the new dialogue box and click on the OK button.
