Deploying Patches to a Custom Share

Overview

This article explains how you can deploy patches to a Custom Share if you do not wish to use the default admin shares set by GFI LanGuard.
 

Process

  1. Open the GFI LanGuard console and go to Remediate.
  2. Select a deployment task.  
    Example: 'Deploy Software Updates'
  3. Select the patches to install and click Remediate.
  4. Go to Before Deployment > Customize.
  5. Choose Custom Share and enter the share name.
