• GFI LanGuard performs scans for more than 5,000 vulnerabilities and missing patches. There is, however, no limitation whatsoever on the number of vulnerabilities that can be detected; users can, for example, create custom vulnerability checks that detect custom vulnerabilities.
• Furthermore, GFI LanGuard makes use of OVAL's database; its source of vulnerabilities enable it to add around 100 new vulnerabilities each month. This means that the number of vulnerabilities that can be detected keeps growing each time you download the latest vulnerability signature updates from the GFI servers.
