Overview

When trying to deploy patches from GFI LanGuard the following error is displayed in the GFI LanGuard console > Deployment Status:

The PatchAgent service is running. Another deployment may be in progress right now. Please try again later.

Environment

Root Cause

This issue occurs if GFI LanGuard is deploying patches to a machine, and a new deployment is launched for the same machine.

Resolution

Before starting a new deployment thread on a machine, wait until any other deployment threads are finished deploying on the same machine.
