Overview

This article provides a step-by-step process on moving the GFI EventsManager DLib database to another disk.

Environment

GFI EventsManager 2013 and later versions

Process

1. Go to Configuration > Options > File Storage (take note of the actual path of the folder).
2. Stop the following services: GFI EventsManager, GFI EventsManager Monitor and GFI Database Server 2.1.
3. Close EventsManager Console.
4. Move the folder from step 1 to the new location.
5. Start the GFI Database Server 2.1 service.
6. Open EventsManager Console.
7. Go to Configuration > Options > File Storage and update the new path.
8. Start the services that you stopped in step 2.
