Proc Folder in WebMonitor

Overview

This article provides relevant information regarding the Proc folder in WebMonitor.

Information

This folder is used to store the downloaded web content that is scanned and cached by WebMonitor. By default, the downloaded files are cached for 27 hours, and currently, it cannot be changed in WebMonitor 2015 and newer versions.

To change the retention of the cached files in GFI WebMonitor 2013 and previous versions:

  1. Open the GFI WebMonitor Console.
  2. Navigate to Settings > General > Options.
  3. Modify the Downloaded files cached for value as you see fit.
