How to Identify

- The CommunicatorSwitch registry key on the agent is set to 1 - Agent computer is in the same network with the proxy The agent is sending endless times the last log file to the proxy. This results in duplicate data rows in the database for the same requests logged by the agent.

Workaround / Fix Details

Disable the CommunicatorSwitch registry (setting it to 0) and restart the service on the agent. DO NOT USE THIS NEW FEATURE! Background: The CommunicatorSwitch is a new feature introduced in 2013 SR1. It is disabled by default and the feature must be manually configured via the registry. The feature is not advertised nor mentioned in the manual. Not many customer should use it in the first place. This bug has been found extremely close to the release and it has been decided to go ahead with the release taking into account that hardly anyone knows about it and that only a very few installations might even want to have its functionality.

Required Actions

Disable the CommunicatorSwitch registry (setting it to 0) and restart the service on the agent. DO NOT USE THIS NEW FEATURE!
