Overview

This article resolves an issue where, upon clicking on any button in the GFI WebMonitor Configuration, or when trying to do any changes, nothing happens. In some cases, when loading the GFI WebMonitor Configuration, the GFI WebMonitor Console screen remains blank.

Root Cause

This issue happens when http://monitor.isa is not listed in the Trusted Sites, which disables Javascript for the site; this restricts the functionality of the buttons in the GFI WebMonitor Configuration.

Process

1. Open Microsoft Internet Explorer.

2. Navigate to Tools > Internet Options > Security.

3. Select Trusted Sites and click on the Sites button.

4. Add the following options:

   • http://monitor.isa

   • 1.1.1.1

   • 127.0.0.1

5. Close the Trusted Sites window and then click on Apply to save the changes.

Confirmation

The WebMonitor Configuration now opens as expected.
