Common ISDN API (CAPI) is an application programming interface standard used to access ISDN equipment connected to basic rate interfaces (BRI) and primary rate interfaces (PRI). CAPI 2.0 is an accepted standard for ISDN. GFI FAXmaker is CAPI 2.0 compliant, and supports Dialogic (Eicon) cards and AVM cards, both of which are CAPI compliant.
