This article provides information about the specific fax line which a user can send faxes on.

Information

It is possible to specify a specific fax line for a user who sends faxes by using TextAPI default commands. This can be done without the users having to type the TextAPI command in each mail every time a fax is sent.

To configure a user to send on a specific line:

1. Retrieve the e-mail address of the user.
   Example:  xyx@domain.com
2. Decide on the line you want the faxes to be sent on.
   Example: line 2
3. Insert the following line into the file textapicfg.fst :

    ^xyx@domain\.com$, ::dl=2

4. Restart the GFI FaxMaker fax server service.
