Overview

This article provides the steps to install the GFI FaxMaker client on the Citrix Server.

Process

Please follow the below steps to install the GFI FaxMaker client on the Citrix Server:

1. Open Regedit and access the following registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
   The string value for the registry entry userinit by default is: C:\WINNT\system32\userinit.exe
2. Change the string value specified in step 1 to C:\Program Files\GFI\FaxMaker Client\fmstart.exe.
3. Make sure that the path to the process fmstart.exe is correct: C:\Program Files\GFI\FaxMaker Client\fmstart.exe.
4. Browse to the registry key: [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix\wfshell\TWI]
   and create a new string value with the settings as specified below:
   

   type: REG_SZ
   
   Value Name: LogoffCheckSysModules 
   
   String: fmstart.exe 

5. Reboot the Citrix server.
