Overview

GFI FaxMaker can be installed on Microsoft Exchange 2007/2010, however, if using Public Contacts, the MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1 are needed to be installed. This article provides the details about the installation sources and important installation notes. 

Process

Download the Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data Objects 1.2.1. 

During the installation process, the Receive and Foreign Connectors will be automatically installed and configured on your Exchange 2007/2010 server.

Notes:

• When using Public Contacts, environments with Microsoft Outlook 2010 x64 are not supported by GFI FaxMaker because of the missing MAPI requirement.  Currently MAPI download cannot be installed along with Microsoft Outlook 2010.
• When GFI FaxMaker is installed on Exchange 2007/2010, there should be only a receive connector and foreign connector present in Exchange for GFI FaxMaker. More details on Exchange Connectors.
