Overview
One may come across instances where it is required to import a large number of email contacts from a standalone CSV file. This can be accomplished by using the Kerio Connect account configured in Outlook.
This article provides instructions on how to import external address book/contacts (from a standalone CSV file) into Kerio Connect.
Prerequisites
Kerio Connect profile installed in Outlook (Kerio Outlook Connector, Exchange ActiveSync)
Access to Kerio Connect Administration
Process

Import the contacts to Outlook following the MS guide.

After the import, the contacts will be saved in the user's folder as
.eml
files. It will be located in the\store\mail\DOMAIN\USER\Contacts\#msgs
folder. -
If these contacts are meant to be public contacts, it is possible to move the
.eml
files from theContacts\#msgs
folder to the\store\mail\#public\Contacts\#msgs
folder. -
Reindex the user or public folder for the contacts to be displayed correctly.
Confirmation
The external address book/contacts are successfully imported into Kerio Connect.
