Problem Summary

When trying to delete or approve an email from the user's quarantine (not administrator), if the recipient is a secondary email address, thjen this cannot be done. The administrator can approve or delete whatever they want though.

How to Identify

When trying to delete or approve an email from the user's quarantine (not administrator), if the recipient is a secondary email address, then this cannot be done. The administrator can approve or delete whatever they want though. The following error will appear in the quarantine logs: 2013-02-08,15:53:30,202,1,"#0000092C","#00000794","error ","QuarWeb","ERROR[Q10]: Item <16BA3139-89B5-4010-A1B6-8039DB17C29C> failed to be deleted" This error essentially means "the account which pertains to this item is not valid".

Upgrade to latest build of GFI MailEssentials 2015 or Later

Required Actions

- Upgrade to latest build of GFI MailEssentials 2015 or Later - Attach this article to the case after confirming the errors - Escalate the case to PSG.
