Overview

Users receive the following error message when trying to launch the Import/Export Tool:

Could not create GFI.Common.DirectoryListener, GFI.Common.Tracing

Environment

  • MailArchiver
  • All Supported Environments

Root Cause

This is caused by the Microsoft .NET 4 framework not being installed.

Resolution

Download and install the Microsoft .NET 4 framework and try relaunching the Import/Export Tool.
