PROBLEM

The Import Export Tool (IET) fails to export emails from a mailbox subfolder ending in a period (.) in some cases.

SOLUTION

Remove the period at the end of the subfolder name or add an additional character such as a space to the end of the folder name.

CAUSE

In the Microsoft .NET framework URI class trailing fullstops (.) are automatically removed from folder names.
