Error: 'Index was out of range must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection' on Archive tab ( ONLY)

PROBLEM

The following error occurs when viewing Archive tab of GFI Archiver web interface:
 
Index was out of range must be non-negative and less than the size of the collection.

ENVIRONMENT

  • GFI Archiver 
  • All supported environments 

SOLUTION

  1. Confirm that antivirus exclusions are in place
  2. Create a new index
  3. In some cases, removing the archive store and reattaching will be required

CAUSE

The index has become corrupt or unusable.
