Overview

This article provides the solution to an issue you may encounter when displaying a message using the Outlook Connector. 

Information

When opening a message in the Outlook Connector, the following message is shown:

"An unknown error occurred while processing the message."

This issue occurs because the Exchange 2003 Management tools provide a version of MAPI that is not compatible with the Outlook Connector.

Process

To fix this issue, uninstall Microsoft Exchange 2003 Management tools.
