This article shares information about the effect on GFI LanGuard license when network discovery is enabled.

Information

The use of network discovery does not imply that each new machine that is discovered is using the license. It only adds the new computers to the dashboard, in synchronization with the Active Directory.  

To free up some licenses, remove scanned computers in GFI LanGuard.
